Sadaqa Jariya: the Charity That Continues After Your Death
Sadaqa jariya is the charity whose reward never stops. A well, knowledge, a planted tree: discover the deeds that keep bringing you blessings even after you're gone.

Among all forms of charity, only one keeps bearing fruit even when we are no longer of this world: sadaqa jariya, the continuous charity. Understanding this concept means discovering a way to invest for eternity.
1The definition of sadaqa jariya
The Prophet ﷺ said: "When the son of Adam dies, his deeds come to an end, except for three: a continuous charity (sadaqa jariya), knowledge from which people benefit, or a righteous child who invokes Allah on his behalf." Sadaqa jariya is therefore any good deed whose benefit extends over time, for the good of others.
2Concrete examples of sadaqa jariya
Digging a well that will water generations, funding a child's education, building a mosque, passing on useful knowledge — or planting a tree that will feed and cool for decades. All these deeds have one thing in common: they keep benefiting others long after the initial gesture, and their reward goes to the one who initiated them.

If the Hour comes while one of you is holding a sapling, let him plant it if he can.
3Planting a tree: sadaqa jariya within everyone's reach
Not everyone can build a mosque or dig a well. But everyone can plant a tree. With TreeDon, this simple gesture becomes a traceable sadaqa jariya: your tree is really planted, photographed, certified in your name or that of a loved one — living or deceased. A charity that continues, for you or for those you love.
